Your photos

When you upload a photo to make an ID photo, the image is sent to our server to remove the background, then returned to your browser. We do not store the uploaded photo, the cutout result, or the final download on disk. Nothing is retained after the request finishes.

In the current phase the background removal runs on our own server. If we enable a third-party background-removal service, your photo will be sent to that service for processing only, and this page will be updated to say so.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how people use the tools. GA4 may set cookies and collect anonymised usage data. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings.

Accounts and personal data

The site has no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email, or any other personal information to use the tools.

Cookies

Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to distinguish returning visitors. No advertising cookies are used. You can block or delete analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the tools work.

How long data is kept

Uploaded photos exist in memory only for the duration of the background-removal request and are not written to disk. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our Google Analytics 4 property, after which it is deleted automatically.

Your rights

Because we hold no accounts and store no uploaded photos, there is no personal profile to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us using the link below and we will look into it. Where a data protection law such as the GDPR or CCPA applies to you, you can also exercise your rights against the analytics provider directly.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example if we add a third-party background-removal service — we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above before the change takes effect.
